New Delhi: Actor Varun Dhawan has rubbished rumours which suggested that he regrets being a part of ‘Dilwale', directed by Rohit Shetty. He took to Twitter to say that he had a great time filming it and he would love to team up with Rohit again.
There were stories that Varun was not happy with the way his role turned out to be in the Shah Rukh-Kajol starrer but the actor took to Twitter to slam such reports.
Adding to it, reports also suggested that Varun has turned down Rohit Shetty's directorial venture ‘Ram Lakhan'. The ‘Student Of The Year' actor refuted these reports too.
He wrote the truth behind his bond with Rohit on Twitter:
Rohit Shetty's ‘Dilwale' saw Varun in the role of Shah Rukh Khan's younger brother. He was cast opposite Kriti Sanon. Before Varun, there were reports that Shah Rukh and Kajol were also upset with the movie's reception at box office. The film opened to mostly bad reviews and did not rake money as expected from it. It also faced tough competition at the box office from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Bajirao Mastani'.
Varun will next be seen in his brother Rohit Dhawan's directorial venture "Dishoom" also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and John Abraham.
