New Delhi: After the first poster of MS Dhoni's biopic creating a massive buzz all over, here is the first look of the actor Sushant Singh Rajput who is going to play the current captain of the Indian cricket team and we bet you that you'll be blown by it.
The snap shared by Dhoni's fan club on the social media platform shows Sushant's back with long locks and unshaven half face just what Mahi looked initially in his career. Donning Test cricket jersey with a clever smile Sushant appears to be geared up to shoot a match scene.
The appearance takes us near to decade back when Dhoni was new to international cricket and became an overnight star while his long hair set a trend all over and his ‘Dhobi pachad shot' gave a new meaning to bat.
Sushant Singh Rajput undoubtedly quite suits to the character as he himself has been a national level cricketer and according to a leading daily, he also once made his mind over to take cricket as his profession. No wonder he is leaving no stone unturned to quite resemble the cricket sensation.
Earlier is his debut flick ‘Kai Po Che', Rajput played a cricket bowling coach and was true to his character showing the required zeal and power which a sportsperson possesses.
Going by the look, he is once again all set to take that sportsmanship spirit to a few notches higher. Ever since his debut flick, the actor is grabbing many big opportunities, which include his upcoming ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi'. The teaser of the movie was out few weeks back and his appearance was once again highly praised all over. However, PK is something. which we feel won't be a ‘hat-ke' character for him since this movie mostly focuses on Aamir Khan's character and Sushant plays a chocolate boy role but we can't say until the movie releases.
Meanwhile, playing Dhoni would be a biggest achievement for the actor alongside a bigger responsibility too. The expectations are already riding high on it since it is helmed by ‘A Wednesday', ‘Special 26' and upcoming ‘Baby' director Neeraj Pandey.
Moreover, compared to any other biopic made in recent years namely ‘Paan Singh Tomar', ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and ‘Mary Kom', Neeraj Pandey's next production would be a more anticipated biopic, the reason being first- it's on cricket, which is religion in India and second- it's on the player who is active and yet achieving milestones across the globe.
So, just let's wait for more updates and we promise you to give ample coverage over this match, which is slated to be played next year.
