New Delhi: Salman Khan's latest Eid release 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' seems to be on a record breaking spree at the box office.
The Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer became the third fastest film to enter the Rs 100 crore club yesterday and today the blockbuster has broken another record.
According to reports, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has earned Rs 200 crore worldwide. As per the latest tweet by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, "#BajrangiBhaijaan is S-U-P-E-R-B. Mon biz similar range as Fri: Fri 27.25 cr, Sat 36.60 cr, Sun 38.75 cr, Mon 26.80 cr. Total: ? 129.40 cr."
And for overseas collection, Eros Now has tweeted, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan records phenomenal overseas weekend collection of USD 8 million (51 crore). HUGE! :)."
But as per the media reports, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has reportedly collected approx Rs 20 crore in overseas on Monday. That means the total collection has reached Rs 180 crore, so it seems by tomorrow 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' will cross the Rs 200 crore mark easily.
Salman Khan's friends and contemporaries - Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan's films had also managed to get similar figure. Happy New Year earned Rs 108.86 crore in 3 days and YRF's 'Dhoom 3' collected Rs 107.61 crore during the opening weekend.
