Mumbai: The fifth season of adventure TV reality show 'Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi' will have an added dose of entertainment and drama besides the usual stunt element.

While the last three editions of the show were about dare devil stunts, this season will see more of comedy and human emotions thanks to the addition of 'Chennai Express' director Rohit Shetty as a host. The stunt/action reality game show is based on the American Fear Factor.

"This season there will be action, entertainment and human emotions. The format of the show this season is different.. there will be stunts but its going to be about entertainment. We want to add humor on the show and entertain people," Rohit said.

"My team is writing the show and I want this season to be more entertaining. When films can have comedy and drama why not TV shows," he said.

Also, Rohit revealed that they intend to change the eating stunts as he don't think people would like to see it on prime time slot. Out of the four seasons, three which were hosted by Akshay Kumar were a hit while the one with Priyanka Chopra did not garner as much response.

The 13 contestants on the show are actor Ranvir Shorey, choreographer-actor Salman Yusuff Khan, actress Mugdha Godse, Rajniesh Duggal, Niktin Dheer, Dayananad Shetty known as Daya, TV actresseš Mahhi Vij, Pooja Gor, stunt woman Geeta Tandon, couple Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon, Femina Miss India International and IPL host Rochelle Maria Rao.

Except for Rohit, who made a delayed entry by shattering the glass on a speeding jeep engulfed in flames, other contestants failed to create any impact with their stunts during the launch of the show last night. The show on Colors channel is likely to go on air from March.
