New Delhi: The clash between the two big films ‘Dilwale' and ‘Bajirao Mastani' has become the talk of the town. After all the two movies were the most awaited movies of the year.

Ever since the movies have hit the theatres, a lot has been said and written about the clash.

This was quite obvious, as on the one hand it was Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol‘s magical chemistry and on the other it was Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's historical love saga.

According to the box office report, so far SRK's ‘Dilwale' is way to ahead of Ranveer's periodical drama. Infact, ‘Dilwale' has already earned Rs. 100 crore in its worldwide business.

Although, the actors prefer staying mum over such clashes, ‘Bajirao Mastani' lead actress Deepika Padukone gave a perfect reply to this box office clash.

During a recent interview, Deepika opened up on this mega clash of ‘Dilwale' and ‘Bajirao Mastani' saying she is just not interested in box office figures of the film.

She said, “I don't understand why we equate creativity and success to numbers. I think films now need to go beyond that. The sign of a successful film is the repeat value and the films you want to watch years later. Whether it's Piku, whether it's Tamasha or whether it's Bajirao Mastani I have never kept a track on Box Office figures and I don't intend do. I am not aware of the collections at all”.

So far, ‘Dilwale' has earned Rs. 65.09 crore in its opening weekend while ‘Bajirao Mastani' minted Rs 46.77 crore in its first weekend.
