"If I say something to someone, that guy has the right to give it back. It's a difficult situation in which I am. It's a difficult position to be in. So far we have been able to handle it," said the 47-year-old.
Salman, who entered the small screen as the host of "Dus Ka Dum", joined "Bigg Boss" in its fourth season and has been hosting it since. The show fetches good TRPs, thanks to the heightened drama, mud-slinging, fights and emotions that take place in the "Bigg Boss" house.
But the "Dabangg" star is not buoyed by the ratings, as his motto is to do a good work.
Salman told IANS: "I only have to do my work. If the show is good, people will watch, or else even I will not see it. I don't understand this TRP game at all, so it doesn't bother me at all."
Box office number games are not his cup of tea either.
