New Delhi: They may be unsuccessful in beating Salman Khan's ‘Jai Ho' at domestic market but Arjun-Alia's ‘2 States' has left behind the former at overseas.

In the key international market USA-Canada, the ‘2 States' has overtaken Jai Ho by a good margin.

“2States all set to cross $ 1 million mark in USA-Canada in opng wknd itself. BIGGEST OPENER of 2014 there. Overtakes #JaiHo by a margin!”, tweets trade analyst Taran Adarsg.

Not only this, the Chetan Bhagat's novel adaptation has also surpassed Arjun's ‘Gunday' which also stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra in numerous countries.

“2States *New Zealand* Thu NZ$ 9,335, Fri NZ$ 22,939, Sat NZ$ 17,143. Total: NZ$ 49,417 [Rs 25.57 lacs]… #Gunday *wknd* NZ$ 41,304”

“2States *Australia* Thu A$ 13,841, Fri A$ 63,315, Sat A$ 45,766. Total: A$ 122,922 [Rs 69.19 lacs]… #Gunday *wknd* A$ 100,974”

“2States *UK* Thu £ 9,798, Fri £ 65,210, Sat £ 56,629 [some sites yet to report]. Total: £ 131,637 [Rs 1.33 cr]… #Gunday *wknd* £ 206,721” confirms Adarsh.

If trade pundits are to be believed, then ‘2 States' has all the possibilities to enter Rs 100 cr club. Initially, it expected that it will leave behind Gunday's opening weekend collection at domestic box office.
