Actresses Taapsee Pannu and Sonakshi Sinha have spoken on the ongoing controversy surrounding the founder of the production house, The Viral Fever, Arunabh Kumar. He was accused of molestation by a woman in an anonymous blog post.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha feels that women are still afraid to talk about molestation and harassment at work place thinking that people will blame them for it. She added that women should take stand for themselves and should speak if they face something like that in their workplace.
Actress Taapsee Pannu, who has recently released videos of self-defence and woman empowerment stated that this comes as a big shock to her. She added that she heard a different story when she talked to some members of TVF. Taapsee further said that some women have openly accused the person and it is difficult to believe that someone whose identity is open, will lie about being molested. The actress revealed that she has asked her friends to keep her updated.
Sonakshi is gearing up for her upcoming film ‘Noor’ whereas Taapsee will next be seen in ‘Naam Shabana’.
Few days back, a woman accused Anurabh of molestation in an anonymous blog. Later, the blog went viral and many women came forward and shared similar experiences. However, TVF has dismissed all the allegations against Anurabh.
