Ranveer Singh and the entire team of Simmba is back to work on the Rohit Shetty film. The team flew to Hyderabad to begin the two-month schedule of the action movie. Starring debutante Sara Ali Khan, Simmba will be shot at Ramoji Rao Film City in Andhra Pradesh. On Saturday, lead actor Ranveer shared the first look of the film and it’s no less than a nostalgia ride of Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “ROHIT SHETTY का HERO. CAPS LOCK में”

Earlier on Thursday, Karan Johar’s Dharma Production took to their social media to post a picture of the awesome foursome with caption, “Here we go! Team #Simmba all set for the journey ahead!”

The picture also dropped a major hint on the looks of the lead actors Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. Ranveer Singh is seen in a cop avatar with a thick moustache and hair done neatly, while Sara is seen as a girl-next-door with a colourful skirt and denim jacket.

Dharma Productions shared a video in which the duo along with director Rohit Shetty can be seen showing some madness on the sets of Simmba. Rohit and Ranveer are also heard calling Sara by her mother’s name Amrita, after which the actress chases them inside the police station.

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan was slated to make her debut this year with Kedarnath, however due to legal issues with production house KriArj Entertainment, the film has been pushed further. She will be shooting for both the films simultaneously. Simmba is slated to release in December this year.
