All the speculations about superstar Shah Rukh Khan being a part of filmmaker Karan Johar’s upcoming movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ can now go to rest. Rumours about SRK being a part of this multi-starrer have been rife for some time now, but no one associated with the movie confirmed the news.
At the recently held Toronto Film Festival, Karan put confirmation on King Khan’s association with the movie, by saying,
“Shah Rukh and I have an amazing working rapport. I haven’t directed a film with him in the last seven years, but he did a scene for me recently in a film that is going to release in Diwali and after seven years when I directed him, I realised nothing had changed. He knew exactly what I was expecting of him and I knew exactly what he was going to do.”

Barring the 2012 release ‘Student Of The Year’, Shah Rukh has been a part of all KJo’s movies. Karan, has time and again, said that directing SRK is one of his favourite jobs and this statement by him further reiterates it.
Though, KJo did not dole out details about SRK’s role in the movie, reports of him being roped in as actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband have been doing rounds of media. It is also being suggested that SRK will die in the movie after which Ash’s character falls in love with actor Ranbir Kapoor in it.
It should be noted that apart from King Khan, another constant in Karan Johar’s projects is Kajol. Though, there is a little chance that she would act in this particular movie because her husband Ajay Devgn’s movie is clashing with ADHM. Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ will lock horns with ADHM on Diwali on October 28, making it one of the biggest box office clashes of this year.
