The first look of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati is here and the film’s release date has already become a threat to other films. The makers of the magnum opus announced it loud and clear through the posters that the film, which was earlier scheduled for November release, will now hit the screens on December 1. Reports have started doing the rounds that John Abraham starrer Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, which is scheduled for December 8 release may get postponed to 2018 to avoid clash with the magnum opus.
If reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to push the release date of John Abraham’s film to avoid the competition. It is also being said that the major portions of the film are yet to be shot. Thus, there are chances that the release date of Parmanu will be delayed.
However, nothing official can be said on the same as of now.
On a related note, Padmavati features actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles. On the other hand, actress Diana Penty will be seen sharing the screen space with John in Parmanu.
