New Delhi: If media reports are to be believed the mother daughter duo of Shobha and Ekta Kapoor are not in the best of terms these days because of the newly appointed CEO of Balaji Telefilms Aman Gill. A report in a leading entertainment portal said that a few days before the release of ‘Udta Punjab’, the two indulged in a major fight as Shobha is not happy with Gill’s work but Ekta insists on keeping him in the company.
The report suggested that many in the company including the Head of Development at Balaji, Tushar Hiranandani. The report said Tushar complained to Shobha about Aman, alleging that he doesn’t know his job well and is no good to the company. Tushar told Shobha that Aman has produced only one flop with his brother and that if Aman stays longer he will quit the company.
Tushar’s complaint is reportedly not the first one. Other Head of Departments of Balaji like the Marketing head Ruchika Kapoor and Distribution Head Vimal Doshi have also said that Aman has zero knowledge about movies.
And the cracks are not limited to Balaji itself. Reportedly, Udta Punjab’s co-producers Phantom Films too is upset with Aman for his behaviour. Also, he took credit after release of Udta Punjab, without putting any hard work.

All these complaints have reportedly pissed Shobha off and she gave a lecture to Aman.
So, when Shobha went to discuss with Ekta, the problems related to Aman, the latter insisted they kept him for a while longer. This infuriated Shobha and she had a heated argument with her daughter, reportedly.
Well, while we do not certify the truth about this report, we hope that if it is true matters between the mother daughter get resolved soon.
