Ajay Devgn and Bhushan Kumar come together for Taanaji
After giving blockbuster Raid, Ajay Devgn and T-Series honcho, Bhushan Kumar collaborate again for a magnum opus. Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior is a period drama and based on Subedar Taanaji Malusare, a military leader in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's army. Directed by Om Raut, the film will reportedly mark the reunion of Devgn and Kajol on screen.
Speculations are rife that Saif Ali Khan will be playing the antagonist in the period drama. The shooting of Taanaji will begin from 25th September 2018 soon after Ajay completes Indra Kumar's Total Dhamaal and Akiv Ali's untitled movie.
Ajay Devgn was last seen in Raj Kumar Gupta's Raid, co-starring Ileana D'Cruz and Saurabh Shukla, which minted over Rs 100 crores at the box office. Ajay will next be seen in the third installment of comedy franchise Dhamaal, which has an ensemble star cast. The film also has new additions as Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit.
