The exit polls have predicted a hung assembly for Karnataka after the assembly elections which concluded yesterday. Most of the polls, including India TV -VMR survey, has predicted that no party will achieve the magic number of 112 seats. The exit polls predict that BJP and Congress will be in a neck-to-neck race, which Janata Dal (Secular) will likely play the kingmaker.

But all the predictions have failed to stir incumbent chief minister Siddaramaiah, who thinks the exit polls are mere 'entertainment'.

In a tweet addressed to his party workers, Congress leader Siddaramaih said that they must not worry about the poll of polls and enjoy their weekend.

"Exit opinion polls are entertainment for the next 2 days. Relying on poll of polls is like a person who can’t swim crossing a river on foot relying on a statistician who told him the average depth of the river is 4 feet. Please note average of 6+4+2 is 4. At 6 feet you drown!," he tweeted.

Adding, "So, Dear party workers, supporters & well wishers, don’t worry about exit polls. Relax & enjoy your weekend. We are coming back."

According to India TV-VMR survey ruling Congress is likely to win at 97 seats, BJP will bag 94 seats, and the Janata Dal(S)-BSP alliance set to become the decider with 28 seats. 'Others', that include independents, may win only three seats, says the exit poll.
