Congress chief Rahul Gandhi possibly stares at a criminal defamation case as he incorrectly claimed that CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's son (instead of CM Raman Singh's son) has been named in Panama Papers.
Asked by Rajat Sharma whether he was not feeling weary after ruling the state for 13 years, the chief minister replied. "Yagya adhuraa hai (my work is still unfinished). I want to eradicate poverty from the state."
Speaking at a India TV's Chunav Manch programme, Baba hit out at BJP government in the state for not taking care of Narmada river and cows. He also accused Chouhan of only making tall claims.
The godman accused the state government of "doing nothing" for the protection of cows and "destroying Hindu shrines, temples and dwellings of seers in the state".
The video clip which has gone viral shows Indore MLA Jitu Patwari telling an elderly couple, "mera khayal rakhna, meri izzat rakhna, party gayi tel lene (forget the party and vote for me...save my reputation)."
When contacted, BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya expressed ignorance on the issue.
