What’s the world coming to!

Just when we thought 2018 is looking quite good, here comes a news of an enraged wife who gave her husband a lot more than he bargained for, when he was least expecting it.

An Arizona woman, Linda Jean Fahn, 69, is facing charges after police say she fired shots at her husband while he sat on the toilet because he was not listening to her.

Apparently, the bizarre incident had happened just in time for some New Year's Eve cheer as on December 30, 2017, the Goodyear Police Department received a frantic call from a man named Charles who said his wife was shooting at him. Officers met the man near his home in the area of Pebble Creek Parkway and Indian School Road.

As per reports, Charles told police that his wife– to whom he has been married to for over 30 years, had been mad at him for two days and her animosity reached its tipping point while he was using the bathroom.

He added that she came, while he was on the loo, and fired two shots above his head, according to police.

The woman, who was detained in her home, reportedly spilt to the police that whatever she did was just to get her husband to pay attention to her. "I shot two bullets at the wall above his head to make him listen to me," she said. Talk about tough love!

She claimed that "he would have to be ten feet tall to be hit by the bullets." However, police estimated that the shots were fired about seven inches above the man's head as he was slouched on the toilet.

Fahn was booked on one count of aggravated assault.
