The UP Board exams for Classes 10 and 12 had begun on March 24 under strict arrangements, with close to three lakh cameras installed at centers to curb cheating.
The technical education regulator had last year announced that students who have not studied physics, chemistry or maths (PCM) in Class 12 will be able to seek admission to engineering and technology programmes, causing a huge uproar.

"From the 2022-23 academic year, the National Testing Agency will be conducting the CUET for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. All the central universities will have to consider CUET scores for admissions to their programmes," UGC chairman Jagdesh Kumar said in a press briefing.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday announced results for Class 12 Term 1 examination. It has also started sending results to schools. Students can contact their respective schools for their results.
The by-polls in Asansol and Ballygunge will take place on April 12. No exams will happen between April 6 and 15.
GATE 2022 was conducted on February 5, 6, 12, and 13.
This year, BSEB conducted the Class 12 examination in the state from February 1 to February 14, 2022, for all streams- arts, commerce, and science.
Admit cards are available for download till April 10, 2022, till 4 pm. This year, there will be negative marking for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective-type question papers.
The earlier dates were - 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 April 2022. The revised dates are 21, 24, 25, 29 April, and 1, 4 May 2022.
The CBSE Term 2 exam will be of 120 minutes for each subject and will contain both MCQs and subjective questions.
The shortlisted candidates need to login to niftadmissions.in and fill choices by March 11, the admit card will be available to download from March 16.
Earlier, the age limit was 25 years for general category candidates and 30 years in the case of reserved category candidates.
