Uttar Pradesh: A shocking incident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj where a government teacher committed suicide by drinking poison during a live stream. The video of this incident has gone viral. The teacher in the 63-second video can be seen narrating the reason behind her drastic step and was witnessed saying, "I bother you a lot. Will not do it from now. I will never. Your family used to beat me, just take care of Aashi."

Teacher accused in-laws of harassment

The government teacher tied the knot on January 29, 2016, to Mahendra, a resident of the Normal Colony of Ganj Dundwara police station area of Kasganj district. After marriage, her in-laws used to beat her. Fed up with the beating and harassment, the teacher committed suicide. A case has been registered against her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, aunt and sister-in-law.

She was found unconscious at home 

The teacher was found unconscious at home on Friday afternoon. Her relatives took her to a private hospital where the doctor declared her dead after the examination. 

On information CO RK Tiwari, Kotwal Haribhan Singh Rathore reached the spot along with the police team. He gathered information by inspecting the spot. Inquired the people present. The forensic team also reached and collected other evidence including fingerprints.

Complaint has been registered 

The father of the deceased filed a complaint against the husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law and more family members at the police station. He told that Ranjana (the teacher) was married to Mahendra in 2016. Ever since the marriage, the husband and other in-laws were demanding Rs 5 lakh as a dowry from her. For this, they started torturing his daughter every day. 

Three accused arrested

A case has been registered against five people including the husband. Three accused including husband Mahendra have been arrested in the case. He was produced in court. From where he has been sent to jail.
