A SpiceJet employee, arrested for slapping a CISF officer at Jaipur Airport, claims she acted in self-defence against sexual harrasment.
Two versions of the incident came out from the Jaipur airport, in which CISF alleged that its jawan was slapped by a female employee of airline, while SpiceJet claimed that its staff was subjected to sexual harassment.
The airport administration said that after receiving the threat, a search operation was conducted in the entire airport. They also informed about it to the airport police station and an investigation has been launched into the matter.
The flight had to make an emergency landing after an elderly passenger fell sick mid-air and his blood pressure started dipping.
The arrested man has been identified as Mohabbat Ali, a resident of Rajasthan, who was also considered as the "most wanted" accused in the case.
The Assistant Commissioner of Customs Department BB Atal said the passenger revealed during interrogation that the gold kept in the aircraft was to be collected by an airline staff but he doesn't know the staffer's name.
