The Prime Minister was on way to Ferozpur via road when protesters blocked the highway due to which PM Modi was stuck on a flyover for over 20 minutes. The Prime Minister had to address a poll rally and lay the foundation stone of the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra expressway among other developmental projects ahead of assembly elections in the state. However, after the security breach, he had to cancel the event.
