T-Series becomes the first YouTube channel to cross 100 Million Subscribers, leaving PewDiePie behind

T-series surpasses PewDiePie with more than 100 million subscribers on YouTube. T-Series now has more than 100,006,500 subscribers and PewDiePie is trailing behind with almost 96,182,900 subscribers.

T-Series becomes the first YouTube channel to cross 100 Million Subscribers, leaving PewDiePie behind

T-Series, India's very own channel has become the first to cross 100 million subscribers on YouTube. With this T-Series leaves the Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie trailing behind.

T-series had surpassed the Swedish YouTuber earlier this year and now has almost four million more subscribers than its rival PewDiePie. T-Series now has more than 100,006,500 subscribers and PewDiePie is trailing behind with almost 96,182,900 subscribers.

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, is a Swedish YouTuber that runs the PewDiePie channel and was also awarded as the highest paid YouTube star in 2016, wherein T-Series took over in February this year. There was a campaign too that was started which said ‘Subscribe to PewDiePie’, but despite all efforts, T-Series took the lead. 

T-series was started by Gulshan Kumar in 1983 that was taken over by Bhushan Kumar in 1997. The company started its journey on YouTube in 2006, whereas PewDiePie launched his channel in 2010. T-Series has been associated with music and the music industry that has music in many languages, while PewDiePie’s just makes videos.

PewDiePie had also made a music video where he acknowledged his defeat that was titled 'Congratulations'.
