Oppo is gearing up its pace in refreshing the R-series lineup in India. The company will now be launching the Oppo R17 Pro and has also released a teaser video of the phone. The video shows some key features of the device that include the triple camera set up at the back and the new and improved SuperVOOC charging. The R17 Pro launch in India is dated for 4th December and pre-orders for the same will begin on 1st December.
Oppo R17 Pro specifications
The Oppo R17 Pro sports a 6.4-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display that features a 91.5 per cent screen-to-body ratio and comes with a waterdrop notch along with the Corning Gorilla Glass 6, for protection. Powering the R17 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor that comes in the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. The phone runs on ColorOS 5.1 on top of Android 8.1 out of the box.
For optics, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a primary 20 Megapixel sensor with the fixed aperture, a secondary 12 Megapixel camera that is capable of switching between f/1.5-f/2.4 aperture and the third 3D DOF depth sensor, for which the company hasn't disclosed the pixel count yet. Towards the front is a 25 Megapixel camera sensor placed under the notch, to take selfies.
The phone comes with the in-display fingerprint reader and houses a 3,700 mAh battery that supports SuperVOOC charging technology that is said to charge 0 to 40 per cent in just 10 minutes.
