OnePlus is gearing up to bring the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition on 12th December in India. The company has already listed the smartphone teaser on Amazon India with a 'Notify Me' page. The new smartphone will be themed on the lines of the McLaren Formula One racing team, which also manufactures supercars.
As far as the specs are concerned, the new OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will come with the same internals of the regular OnePlus 6T with some upgrades. The teaser of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition claims “charging is about to hit warp speed”, which hints to the 50w charging.
OnePlus had trademarked the Warp Charge earlier this year, after the sibling company Oppo that unveiled the Super VOOC (50W) charging that was seen on Oppo R17 Pro. Both OnePlus and Oppo are part of BBK Electronics, which makes the possibilities of the fast charger more prominent.
Apart from the fast charging, other changes one can expect is the RAM, as reports suggest that the phone could sport a whopping 10GB of RAM, backed with 256GB storage.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is set to launch on 12th December in India at an event that will be held in Mumbai. The event also concludes the company's fifth-anniversary celebration. The company has said that the phone will go on sale at the OnePlus Experience Store in Connaught Place, New Delhi, first followed with Amazon India and other offline locations.
