JioPhone 2 Flash Sale: Here's all you should know

Reliance launched the successor to their flagship JioPhone- JioPhone 2 on the 41st annual general meet. The smartphone priced at Rs 2,999 went on sale for the first time on August 16 and today is the second opportunity when interested customers can purchase the phone. As the feature phone went out of stock on its first sale, same kind of rush is expected today as well. In order to book the phone without any delay, make sure to log in to Jio.com or MyJio App either with Jio number or email id before the sale kickstarts at 12 noon.

HOW TO BUY JIOPHONE 2?

Firstly, visit Jio.com or MyJio App and then login to the account with your Jio number. After clicking on the JioPhone 2 banner on the website homepage, you have to enter the Pincode and proceed to checkout. 

Then enter your name, email id, mobile number and other personal details and select payment option. Reportedly, JioPhone 2 can be booked only with the help of net banking, debit or credit card. Cash on delivery (COD) option is not available. 

After paying Rs 2,999, you will get a confirmation notification either on your number or the registered email ID. Do save the order number for further use.

WHEN WILL THE PHONE BE DELIVERED?

There has been no detail about the delivery process. Reliance is yet to reveal the details, however in the FAQs section of the JioPhone 2, the company says that one will get the phone within 5-7 business days after the order is placed. In some cases, it may take a longer time, the company adds.

SPECIFICATIONS

JioPhone 2 has QWERTY keypad and has 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB.  The feature phone also has a 2.4-inch QVGA display and it runs on KAI OS. The phone has 2-megapixel camera, mono speaker and a 4-way navigation key. It will also have pre-loaded apps such as MyJio, JioMusic, JioTV, Jio Cinema and others. It will soon be able to support WhatsApp as well. 

Ambani in his keynote address in the 41st AGM claimed that there are more than 25 million JioPhone users in India and with the launch of 2 they are taking the functionalities to the next level.
