London, Jun 15: Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina, who finished runners-up in the French Open early this month, have been seeded fourth in the women's doubles at the Wimbledon, which gets underway on Monday.
Sania, partnering with Elena, had made it to her maiden Grand Slam women's doubles final at the Ronald Garros on June 2 but failed to win the summit clash.
Indian duo of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have been seeded third, while their compatriot Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi, who registered their second ATP title at Halle in Germany last week, are seeded fourth in the grass court prestigious tournament.
No Indian was seeded in the men's or women's singles. PTI
