Pakistan fast bowler Umar Gul is recovering fast and chances of his joining the team for World Cup Twenty20 have increased, reports Geo News.
Umar Gul suffered shoulder injury while undergoing training at the camp in Lahore.
He underwent an MRI scan and the report was not encouraging. But now there is news that he is recovering fast.
An official of the team said, he has started bowling lightly at nets during which he did not feel pain. Officials hope Umar would soon begin bowling in full rhythm and would clear the fitness test which will be held on April 19 and 20.
However, Yasir Arafat is still injured and he is unlikely to find a place in the team.
