Centurion: The 3rd and final ODI match between India and South Africa abandoned due to rain after South Africa has given India a target of 302 runs to win in the 3rd and final ODI against India being played here on Wednesday. South Africa sealed the ODI series 2-0.


South African wicket keeper opener Quinton de Kock hit his consecutive ODI century of the series against India in the match.

Put to field first by Proteas, Indian bowlers gave quick blows to the hosts by picking 3 wickets within 30 runs.

After the blows, skipper AB de Villiers and Quinton de Kock helped South Africa  reach  a comfortable  position with jointly scoring 171 runs parnetship.

Quinton de Kock made 101 runs off 120 balls with 2 sixes and 9 fours on the other hand AB de Villiers scored 109 runs off 101 balls studded with 5 sixes and 6 fours.

After the Indian bowlers striked again by picking de Kock and de Villiers, David Miller thrashed Indian bowlers with scoring quick not-out 56 off 36 balls with 3 sixes and 5 fours.

For India, Ishant Sharma took 4 wickets for 40 runs in his 10 overs and Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets for 69 runs in his 10 overs.
