Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt on Monday said that  he has asked ICC task force for holding India-Pak series at neutral series to make up for the monetary loss.

 
Pakistan had to bear a loss of  $ 40 million  for not holding the India-Pak series, Butt said.

He said that he had also asked the ICC task force that Pakistan be allowed to host the Champions Trophy in 2013.

Ijaz Butt said  a comprehensive presentation was given to the ICC task force on the monetary losses incurred due to suspension of international cricket matches in Pakistan.

The PCB chairman said, he has asked for special funds to compensate the expenses incurred for constructing stadiums for holding Champions Trophy and World Cup matches in Pakistan and losses due to suspension of international cricket  in the country.

He added that England proposed to play two Twenty20 matches in the UAE before the T20 World Cup and an A team series would be held from the income generated through these matches.

Butt said that  Younis Khan's future  would be decided in the meeting with chief selector Iqbal Qasimon Tuesday.

He said that he has got government approval for Pakistan players' participation in the IPL and now the ball was in the court of the Indian government.
