New Delhi: India's limited-overs captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is famous for his calm and composed demeanour. Even at crucial junctures in the game, he reflects measured emotions; moreover, he restrains his euphoria even at the time of jubilation.
Unlike his other teammates, who on various occasions do not shy away from shaking a leg, Dhoni has never been seen displaying his dancing skills in public
But Mahi, who is thousands of miles away preparing for the five-ODI and three-Twenty20 series with Australia, is making waves with his latest video commercial where he can be seen grooving to the music.
In the video, Dhoni is seen matching steps with India's most popular dancer Prabhu Deva. And, more surprisingly, he is dancing wearing a dhoti.
The video comes as a lovely surprise for his South Indian fans ahead of Pongal. Dhoni has a special relationship with fans from southern region of the country. He has been the captain of the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) since its inception.
The team has been banned for two years from the IPL by the Supreme Court.
