With India all set to take on England in a five-game Test series that is scheduled to kick off from June 20, let us have a look at the Indian team's performance in their last five Test tours of England.

1. Pataudi Trophy 2007: The three-Test format series saw the Indian team clinching the trophy. The first Test of the series resulted in a draw thanks to adverse weather. The second Test of the series was won by the visitors after an exceptional performance by Zaheer Khan. Furthermore, due to the third Test resulting in a draw, it was team India who clinched trophy, winning the series 0-1.

Defeating India across all four Tests, England comfortably won the Pataudi Trophy in 2011.

2. Pataudi Trophy 2011: The very next tour resulted in a disappointing loss for the Indian team. Changing into a four-test format, England displayed complete domination in the series, defeating India in the first Test by 196 runs, the second Test by 319 runs, the third Test by an innings and by 242 runs, and the fourth Test by an innings and 8 runs. Defeating India across all four Tests, England comfortably won the Pataudi Trophy in 2011.
