5 Women's World Cup stars who can light up WBBL 2025

The 11th edition of the Women's Big Bash League is set to kick off on Sunday, November 9. With the Women's World Cup just concluded last week, a few in-form overseas players will be in action at the WBBL, generating further interest for the tournament from across the world-

Jemimah Rodrigues, fresh off a World Cup victory for India, will be turning up for the Brisbane Heat for the second season in a row. Rodrigues will be partnering with her former Delhi Capitals teammate Jess Jonassen as the Heat aim to go one better than the last season.

Laura Wolvaardt, South Africa's captain, will be bringing her magnificent form from the World Cup to the WBBL for the Adelaide Strikers. Wolvaardt is likely to open alongside Tammy Beaumont this time around and Strikers will hope that the 26-year-old's form continues Down Under as well.

Nadine de Klerk couldn't finish it off for South Africa in the World Cup final against India, but she was one of the players of the tournament for the Proteas. De Klerk was retained by the Brisbane Heat and will be joining Jemimah Rodrigues again.
