Special Screening of Udta Punjab: No more cut-cut!

Movie Udta Punjab is finally released today as per the schedule. The film clearedone last hurdle yesterday when Punjab and Haryana High Court dismissed a petition against its release. The court said that the film didn’t project Punjab in bad light and was not intended to glorify drug addiction. Udta Punjab is a crime thriller co-written and directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The movie, based on drug abuse, features Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. Shahid Kapoor, who plays Tommy Singh in the movie, was seen wearing a plain white t-shirt along with faded black denims and black ankle length boots and ofcourse, a coffee mug in hand! Elegant much.

Kumari Pinki of the movie Alia Bhatt was spotted with Shahid Kapoor wearing pattern-matching white top and shorts with black laces and sunny yellow shoes. Pretty Pinky, must say!

Diljit Dosanjh, who essays the role of Policemen Sartaj Singh in the movie, was spotted wearing a zebra printed t-shit and distorted jeans with white sneakers. And yes, he was looking handsome with a red turban like a cherry on top.

Wearing a arctic blue shirt matching it with beige pants Tusshar Kapoor, who worked in hits like Kya cool hain hum, Golmaal and Shootout at Lokhandwaala, was spotted at the screening as well.

Himansh Kohli, actor who made his debut in 2014 in the film Yaariyan, was seen in a crisp cerulean t-shirt and faded jean.

Known for some of the best Bollywod movies like Lagaan, Jodhaa Akbar and Swades, Director Ashutosh Gowarikar was seen driving to the screening as well.

Super star Aamir Khan’s wife, Kiran Rao, was also present on the occasion. Rao was looking pretty in a white top and blue printed lower along with bright yellow shoes.

Newly wed actress, Preity Zinta Goodenough, who gave a blockbuster hit to movie Kal Ho Na Ho, came to the screening wearing catty-eye glasses and orange top.

The ‘Rockstar’ actor Ranbir Kapoor came as a naughty musician with white shirt, distorted jeans, high ankle sneakers and a snapback.

“Aye Circuit!” Arshad Warsi, who’s known for his role as circuit in Munna Bhai sequels, shown up with his wife, Maria Goretti.

VJ Andy, who hosted Dare to date, showed up totally going traditional in black kurta-pyajamas and juttis.

Dia Mirza, the Rehna Hain Tere Dil Mein star, looked gorgeous in maroon-white combination and the matching sling.
