Lagaan-- 'Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India' is a 2001 sports drama film written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Set in 1893, during the late Victorian period of India's colonial British Raj, the film follows the inhabitants of a village in central India, who, burdened by high taxes and several years of drought, are challenged by an arrogant British Indian Army officer to a game of cricket as a wager to avoid paying the taxes they owe.

MS Dhoni The Untold Story: A cricket film of this scale of a living cricket legend has never been attempted before. Being a biopic, the movie reveals some lesser known as well as unknown facts about the 35-year-old ace cricketer. To make it as realistic as possible, the movie has been shot at real locations which have strong relevance in Dhoni's life including his house in Ranchi, in his school, at Kharagpur station where Dhoni was stationed as the TT. Helmed by director Neeraj Pandey, the film starred Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role.

Jersey: Helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, 'Jersey' revolves around Arjun (played by Shahid), a failed cricketer who decides to fulfil his dream of representing Team India for happiness of his son. Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur are also a part of the film, which is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name.
