Raghav Chadha, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, held a press conference on Friday to announce his resignation from the party. Subsequently, he has now joined BJP along with Ashok Mittal, Sandeep Pathak.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, who hail from two distinct professional fields, kept their romantic relationship largely under wraps. While various theories emerged regarding where their romance began and how they met, it was on The Kapil Sharma Show, where they recently appeared as guests, that Raghav and Parineeti spoke openly for the very first time about how their love story actually began.

During the show, the actress revealed, We met for the first time in London, where we had gone to attend an awards ceremony. At that event, we were both being honoured for our outstanding work in our respective fields. Both of my brothers follow Raghav on social media. I mentioned to them that Raghav Chadha was present at the venue, and they both insisted that I go over and say 'Hi' to him.'

She further added, 'During the event, Raghav was seated at the table right behind me. I walked over and said 'Hi' to him. I suggested, 'Let's catch up sometime in India.' Just a few seconds later, Raghav replied, 'Let's meet for breakfast tomorrow.'

Parineeti then added, 'It felt a bit strange to me at first, but I eventually agreed; the next morning, I arrived for breakfast accompanied by my manager and five other people.' Raghav, too, arrived accompanied by his two organisers.

She further said, 'Our meeting lasted a mere 30 minutes. As soon as breakfast concluded, Raghav asked me for my phone number. We began talking, and I realised right then and there that we were meant to move forward together; just three or four months later, we decided to get married.'

However, Raghav quipped, 'Madam actually Googled me before meeting to find out who I was, what I did, and how tall I am!' It is significant to note that the two got engaged on May 22, 2026.

They later tied the knot on September 25, 2023 in Udaipur. The couple opted for Manish Malhotra's wedding outfits.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha welcomed their baby born on October 19, 2025. They names him Neer. 'Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him 'Neer' pure, divine, limitless,' the actress wrote while announcing his name.
