Rajani (1985)
Directed by Basu Chatterjee, Rajani became a popular TV show for creating awareness among careless government officials. The TV shows also had cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Subhash Ghai
Darpan (1985)
Director Basu Chatterjee explored middle-class lives through his show Darpan. The music of the show also gained much popularity.
Byomkesh Bakshi (1993 and 1997)
One of the cult classics, Byomkesh Bakshi has just made a comeback on Doordarshan during the lockdown after viewers' huge demand. Basu Chatterjee's show had two seasons and was critically acclaimed. It was also the most celebrated adaptation of the character.
Ek Prem Katha (2005)
In 2005, Basu Chatterjee directed Ek Prem Katha- Ek Mulakat that showed love stories from different regions of India.
