Greece spied on US ambassadors, says ex-minister
Athens: Greece spied on at least two US ambassador, a former Greek foreign affairs minister Theodoros Pangalos revealed Tuesday, amid talks that the American embassy in Athens houses a surveillance centre."We didn't learn anything new...Everybody
Amid a furore caused recently by allegations that NSA has been spying on several leaders, officials and citizens worldwide, Der Spiegel cites NSA documents revealed by American intelligence whistleblower Edward Snowden to back the claim.
The Greek government has not made any comment yet on the espionage claims.
Pangalos, who served as foreign minister in the period 1996-1999 under a socialist government, downplayed the reactions of European governments.
