Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has announced cut in water supply ranging from 50 per cent to 100 per cent in selected areas of the metropolis from today.
This has been done due to repair work on the water pipe connecting Bhandwada Hill lake.
Areas which will not get water supply from 9 am of Dec 9 till 9 am of Dec 10 are: Naval dockyard, Mumbai Port Trust, St George Hospital, P DeMellow rod, entiree B ward, MBPT, Nagpada Mazgaon, Ambewadi and Tulsiwadi in E ward.
Areas which will get 50 per cent water supply are: Wards A, B, C, D and E on Dec 10.
BMC has appealed to residents of these localities to conserve water.
