Chennai: Unidentified miscreants today hurled crude bombs at office of popular Tamil news channel, Puthiya Thalamaurai, in Chennai.
Police said that no one was injured in the attack and there was not much damage to property.
According to police, four motorcycle-borne youths hurled two crude bombs packed in tiffin boxes in the wee hours.
The bombs were of low-intensity, police added.
The incident took place at a time when the news channel was under attack by a right-wing fringe outfit, Hindu Munnani, for recording a controversial current affairs programme.
The whole incident had been caught on a CCTV camera.
As of now no one has been detained in this connection.
