New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has come under attack from right wing parties for his remark over growing intolerance in India, has found a new sympathiser in Hafiz Saeed-- chief of banned terrorist group Jamat-ud-Dawah.

The 2008 Mumbai attack mastermind sent an open invitation to all Muslims including Shah Rukh Khan to Pakistan who are facing problems in India due to their religion.

One of India's most wanted, Saeed on Tuesday tweeted, “Any such Muslim, even Shahrukh who's dealing with problem and discrimination in India due to Islam are invited to stay in Pakistan."

“Even the famend Indian Muslims in the sector of sports activities, academia, arts & tradition are preventing a continuing battle for id inside India ,” he said in a tweet

Earlier, Shahrukh, while joining his chorus over the growing intolerance in the country, had said that there is intolerance, there is extreme intolerance… there is, I think… there is growing intolerance.

“Religious intolerance and not being secular…is the worst kind of crime that you can do as a patriot,” the superstar had said at a press conference in Mumbai on Monday.

Hafiz remarks came after SRK was dubbed as ‘anti-nationalist' and ‘Pakistani agent' by senior BJP chief Kailash Vijayvargiya and controversial Hindutva determine Sadhvi Prachi in their assault on him over his “excessive intolerance” comment.

Shah Rukh lives in India, but his soul is in Pakistan. His films make crores here but he thinks India to be intolerant," Vijayvargiya said in a series of tweets amid mounting concerns over the "climate of intolerance" in the country.

"If this is not anti-nationalist, then what is it. India is making a bid to become a permanent member of the United Nations and all the anti-Indian forces including Pakistan are creating a conspiracy," he said.
