Telangana: Centre rushes 7,500 troops to Andhra
New Delhi: Anticipating attacks due to the creation of a separate Telangana state, the Centre has deployed 7,500 paramilitary forces in Andhra Pradesh to control the law and order situation. The Home Minister made it
“The situation in Uttar Pradesh was constantly reviewed in the context of communal violence in some parts of the state. On the request of government of Uttar Pradesh it has been decided to extend the deployment of 78 companies of CAPFs for law and order duties till October 16,” he said.
One paramilitary company has close to 100 jawans. .
Talking on a separate issue, Shinde said integrated online visa application system along with biometrics (C-Visa) under the Immigration Visa and Foreigners Registration and Tracking (IVFRT) has been operationalised in the Indian mission at Ramallah in Palestine.
