Berhampur (Odisha), Mar 27: A 24-year-old man was arrested in Odisha's Ganjam district for allegedly raping a teenager for the last six months by promising to marry her, police said today.
Medical test of the accused was conducted after he was arrested from Beguniapada area, said Officer In-Charge of Beguniapada police station R R Pradhan.
The accused was also produced in the court yesterday, he said adding medical examination of the 15-year-old victim was also carried out at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
