New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today called on Prime Minister of Bhutan Tshering Tobgay and discussed important bilateral issues including security and hydro power projects.

During the meeting, Tobgay assured India that his government will not allow any anti-India activities from its soil, official sources said.

The two leaders also reviewed the status of various joint hydropower projects.

Last week, Tobgay had held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the margins of ‘Vibrant Gujarat' in Gandhinagar.

Modi and Tobgay discussed security cooperation including in recent times, following the events in Assam where Bodo militants carried out attacks on non-Bodos and killed 70 people, the sources said, adding “they agreed that cooperation and coordinating efforts is the best way to proceed.”
