He condemned the action of the election commission in banning the political conference at the ‘eleventh hour' adding that party would not tolerate such actions.
On the other hand Aam Aadmi Party workers gathered at the venue and held a ‘workers meeting' after their conference was disallowed by the Rupnagar district administration.
Aam Aadmi Party leaders criticised the district administration for its double standards.
They alleged that their party was not allowed to hold the conference by the officials citing election commission orders on the other hand no official had gone to stop the conference of Shiromani Akali Dal.
They said the Religious Institution (Prevention of Misuse) Act was misinterpreted while disallowing their conference.
