New Delhi: Former media honcho Peter Mukerjea was today questioned by Mumbai Police in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.
Indrani Mukerjea's legal counsel was also present at the Khar police station in Mumbai.
Peter's preliminary statement was recorded last week and police are yet to record his detailed statement.
Indrani is the prime accused in the case. She is presently in police custody.
Indrani, according to police, had killed her daughter Sheena Bora in 2012 with the help of her second husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver Shyamwar Rai.
Sheena was born of Indrani's first relationship with a man named Siddhartha Das. They also had a son named Mekhail.
Sources close to the investigation confirmed that Indrani, who broke down on Monday after briefly meeting her other daughter Vidhie at Bandra court, has admitted to her role in the crime. Till recently, she had been maintaining Sheena was very much alive and in the US.
