New Delhi, May 29: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today arrived here from his three-day visit to resource-rich Myanmar during which he held talks with the country's President Thein Sein and democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi.

Embarking on a “new journey” of bilateral cooperation, India during his trip extended a USD 500 million line of credit to Myanmar as it signed 15 agreements on fields like trade, energy and connectivity with the Southeast Asian nation, which pledged not to allow its territory to be used by terrorists to target India.

On a historic visit to Myanmar, the first by an
Indian Prime Minister in 25 years, Singh held extensive talks with Sein, drawing up a roadmap for future course of bilateral ties.
