Shimla, Jun 5 : A medium intensity earthquake of magnitude 4.8 on Richter scale rocked Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday night.
The epicentre was located in Lahaul Spiti the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh.
Tremors were reported from Dharamsala, palampur, Kangra and Chamba.
No losses of life were reported because of the quake which occured at 11:05 pm.
