Siliguri, Jun 8 : Sikkim chief minister Pawan Kumar Chamling has said, India needs at least 50 small states for proper development.
Speaking to mediapersons here while attending a mango festival, supported the demand for separate statehood to Gorkhaland, but added that the decision rested both with the Centre and state government.
Chamling said he has started “Pabitra Kranti Yatra” from Sikkim, which will basically spread messages on peace.
