Gorakhpur: Four more children succumbed to encephalitis at the BRD Medical College Hospital here, taking the death toll in the disease in eastern Uttar Pradesh to 202 this year.
The deceased belonged to Gorakhpur, Mahrajganj, Kushinagar and Bihar, health officials said today.
As many as 14 persons suffering from encephalitis have been admitted to the hospital since yesterday, they said adding that a total of 137 patients are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
