Dehradun: Prince Charles with wife Camilla on Thursday visited the Doon School in Dehradun .
As the royal couple arrived at one of India's famous schools, they were greeted with a song and dance performance by the students.
The Duchess also presented trophies to the sports champions of the school.
They were also received by top officials at the Indian Military Academy at Chetwood Building. The couple was taken for a tour of the historic academy located in the foothills of the Himalayas
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall met the cadets at IMA during their nine day trip to India.
Prince Charles and Camilla will spend eight more days in India before heading to Sri Lanka for attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Colombo.
The royal couple arrived in India on Wednesday. At the beginning of the trip they attended a Hindu prayer ceremony on the banks of the river Ganga in the northern holy town of Rishikesh.
This is the third time that the royal couple has officially visited India.
