Hyderabad, Jul 15: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy yesterday reviewed the situation following heavy rains in the state.
Chief Secretary P K Mohanty has informed that the heavy rains over the last few days have stopped more or less and relief measures are being undertaken wherever necessary, a release from the Chief Minister's office said.
The chief minister also took stock of the massive plantation programme in the state and directed that all the departments complete the target of planting eight crore samplings in two months.
Reddy also reviewed the progress of Hyderabad Metro Rail and the public transport development in the city, the release added.
